For our international players we have gathered some useful information. For further questions, the members of the ACHIM-BADEN OPEN 2023 Squash Tournament management, Lars Gerken, Steffen Rohde and Björn Knobloch, are always available and will help you as much as possible.
Our squash center is located in the small town of Achim (Baden district), near the big city of Bremen, in the north of Germany. The nearest big cities are: Hamburg in the southwest and Hannover in the south.
Travel recommendations:
The nearest international airports are Bremen (distance to the tournament venue: 27 kilometers), Hamburg (distance to the tournament venue: 98 kilometers) and Hannover (distance to the tournament venue: 96 kilometers). Our squash center is conveniently located directly at the freeway „A27“. The approaching freeways are the „A1“ if you are coming from Bremen or Hamburg. If you are coming from Hannover, it is the freeway „A7“.

At the Squash Center there is a train station which connects you with the big train stations in Bremen, Hamburg and Hannover.

Tournament hotel
The Hotel Wesermarsch is our tournament hotel. It is located only about 2.5 kilometers from the squash center and as a tournament participant you get 10% discount on the accommodation price. Please mention the keyword „PSA-Achim-Baden-Squash-Open-2023“ when booking without being asked.
The rooms are all equipped with bath/shower and WC, direct dial telephone and color cable TV. Free internet access is available via WLAN around the clock. Parking spaces for guests are sufficiently available.

Our Squash Center
Our modern squash center has 5 squash courts in good condition. There is a large spectator area, which is integrated into the comfortable room concept. The sanitary areas are modern. There is also a Finnish sauna with a large wellness area. The center also offers fitness and badminton.

Buffet
We recommend all players to book the buffet as well! The food is delicious, healthy, luxurious and offers something for everyone. A super tasty refreshment including socializing on the tournament Saturday.

There are numerous restaurants in Achim and Bremen. We can recommend you something locally, if you don’t find anything suitable on the internet. You can find fast food restaurants in Achim at the highway entrance (about 2.8 kilometers from the Squash Center).
